skaalvenn habanero rum

It's Simply Too Hot For Minnesotans
Like a hot summer day in Minnesota, your tongue buckles under the heat like a stretch of 35W, your eyeballs sweat like a flannelled hipster at the State Fair and your throat feels as hot as the steering wheel of a minivan parked at Southdale all day.
Our Habanero Rum works well as an addition to sweeter rum cocktails such as daiquiris or use a splash in a margarita. Minnesota winters are a lot more tolerable with a splash added to your hot cocoa!
Bottled at 80 proof
Also, we weren't lying. It's too hot for most people here and we're slowly discontinuing it through distribution. It's available by special request or in our cocktail bar
habanero rum Recipes
Pineapple Chili Daquiri
Sure, you can make a daiquiri with our Rum (as seen above), but this extra-tropical iteration brings capsaicin to the party, if you agree that everything tastes better with a little heat.
1oz Skaalvenn Habanero Rum
1oz Skaalvenn Rum (or go full 2oz hab rum!)
3/4oz pineapple juice
1/2oz simple syrup
1/2oz lime juiceShake everything on ice, pour into ice filled glass, and garnish with pineapple wedge.

The Cubanita
Never heard of her? It’s like a spicy rum bloody mary, and it is so good. Obviously you can also make this with our Vodka, but not-so-obviously, you can make it with our Bourbon, Aquavit or Rum, too!
2oz Skaalvenn Habanero Rum
2 dashes of hot sauce
1oz lemon juice
1/4 oz worshessterrerrrer sauce
Bloody Mary mix
Combine all ingredients, add ice, and go nuts with garnishes (celery, beef stick, cheese, a cheeseburger, or an entire buffet).

Tingly Mojito
What’s better than a mojito (which you can also make with Skaalvenn Rum!)? A spicy mojito, baby! The tickle of habanero heat in combination with the cooling mint keeps you coming back for more.
2oz Skaalvenn Habanero Rum
Handful of mint leaves
3/4 oz lime juice
1/2 oz simple syrup
Soda water
Muddle mint with rum and lime juice. Pour in all remaining ingredients, then strain into ice filled glass. Top with soda water, garnish with mint and lime wheel.
