The Long Goodbye Mary
“What’s that now? You’re leaving already? OK, but how about an olive for the road? You look so thin, have you been working out? Did I tell you about my celery garden–Oh you’ve just got to hear this story before you go” – You’re going to be here awhile so you are going to need some extras. Mix Skaalvenn Vodka, bloody Mary mix, 2 full skewers of olives, celery, and a meat stick or bacon. Add pan fried shrimp if it’s a really long goodbye.

Oh, that’s right — Iowans.

The Skaalywag
If you’re feeling mischievous, the Skaalywag is the drink for you. Pour some Skaalvenn Rum into a frosty glass and top it off with ice cold root beer. If you’re feeling extra adventurous, use hard root beer — you know, the kind with alcohol content. Will you get a kick out this drink? You bet your sassafras, you will.
For a treat that will really float your boat, add a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream.
Mojito Bite
The buzz you’re hearing is the excitement over this perfect Minnesota summer cocktail. Just muddle blackberries, mint leaves, sugar, Skaalvenn Rum and lime juice in a glass. Add ice and club soda and stir. Garnish with a sprig of mint for a perfectly non-pesky party drink.
It’s 85° Somewhere
Why wait for the perfect weather to enjoy a taste of the tropics? Even on the coldest Minnesota winter day, this tall drink of coconut water will give you the warm fuzzies. Just add Skaalvenn Rum to your favorite coconut water and give it a twist of lime. If you’re cuckoo for coconuts, this is the drink for you.

Need to relax after your roadwork-filled, hour-long commute? Get back in the sane lane with this refreshing rum and peach pitstop. Heat a pan over high heat and toss in rosemary sprigs. Then dip cut sides of peaches in sugar, add them to the pan cut-side down and cook until sugar caramelizes. Cut the peaches into quarters and put them in a pitcher with about 2 tablespoons of raw sugar — muddle to release juices. Add Skaalvenn Rum and ice and stir, stir, stir. Pour and garnish with an uncooked rosemary sprig. This one takes a little bit of work, but the destination’s worth it.
